LEGAL ASSISTANT
You will thrive with us if you:

hold a DEC in legal techniques or AEC in legal secretarial work;

have a minimum of one (1) year of work-related experience or in a similar job;

have an excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams);
-
have an excellent command of French, both oral and written, and a good level of English;
-
have experience in civil litigation (asset);
-
are autonomous, have a sense of priorities and are rigorous and meticulous;
-
have a positive and customer service-oriented attitude;
-
have a strong sense of confidentiality.
Your responsibilities will mainly include:
-
open/close files;
-
take charge of the agenda and ensure its follow-up;
-
archiving records;
-
welcome clients ;
-
management of mail, calls and emails;
-
preparing and drafting various legal documents;
-
review documents and correspondence to ensure they conform to legal procedures and grammatical usage;
-
keep the ranking up to date;
-
support lawyers in business development;
-
make invoicing and time entries;
-
complete the payroll cycle;
-
monitor accounts payable and receivable;
-
perform bookkeeping;
-
prepare deposits and transfers;
-
perform any other related task related to the position.
