Boavista Legal Services Inc. is a human-sized firm where each person contributes to the success of the team. You will be able to flourish within a team of dynamic and passionate young lawyers.

You will thrive with us if you:

  • hold a DEC in legal techniques or AEC in legal secretarial work;

  • have a minimum of one (1) year of work-related experience or in a similar job;

  • have an excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams);

  • have an excellent command of French, both oral and written, and a good level of English;

  • have experience in civil litigation (asset);

  • are autonomous, have a sense of priorities and are rigorous and meticulous;

  • have a positive and customer service-oriented attitude;

  • have a strong sense of confidentiality.

Your responsibilities will mainly include:

  • open/close files;

  • take charge of the agenda and ensure its follow-up;

  • archiving records;

  • welcome clients ;

  • management of mail, calls and emails;

  • preparing and drafting various legal documents;

  • review documents and correspondence to ensure they conform to legal procedures and grammatical usage;

  • keep the ranking up to date;

  • support lawyers in business development;

  • make invoicing and time entries;

  • complete the payroll cycle;

  • monitor accounts payable and receivable;

  • perform bookkeeping;

  • prepare deposits and transfers;

  • perform any other related task related to the position.

$22 - $28 per hour
